Why are you running for Sammamish City Council?
I was born and raised on the Eastside. For the past 15 years, I have travelled throughout the country and nearly every corner of the world, but never found a better place than 
Washington State to raise a family.
I am running for city council to ensure Sammamish continues to be one of the best places in the world to raise a family, even as we confront the challenges and opportunities that flow from our region’s incredible growth. I believe that I can make a positive impact on our community as we look to our future.

Why are you running for Sammamish City Council?
Over 15 years ago, my husband and I moved to Sammamish to raise our family. I’m 
running for City Council to protect what we love about our diverse community- our beautiful and safe neighborhoods, parks and forests, quality schools – all of which make Sammamish special. Sammamish needs someone who is deeply committed to the residents of city, who will listen, and has experience in bringing people together. Now, more than ever, Sammamish needs a council member who will do the right thing for the city.

Why are you running for Sammamish City Council?
With a looming financial crisis for the first time in our city’s history, it is imperative we 
have councilmembers that carefully select opportunities that have positive impacts on improving traffic, sustaining our infrastructure, and preserving our environment. I am the only Candidate with proven financial skills and experience to effectively address Sammamish’s emerging fiscal challenges. Community leaders and citizens have encouraged me to run for Council to help the city navigate through this critical period. I am answering a call for action to achieve our community goals while protecting the citizens from unnecessary tax burdens due to poor planning.
