Christie Malchow, Ramiro Valderrama and Tom Hornish continued to increase their lead over Mark Cross, Hank Klein and Tom Vance in the Sammamish City Council race from Tuesday’s election.
New data released at the end of Thursday’s business day shows a modest increase in the vote totals of the first three over the second three. The percent margins changed fractionally.
The number of votes counted Thursday was just over 200, a dramatic drop of Wednesday’s count over Tuesday night’s results, when just over 1,000 votes were counted. There should be fewer and fewer votes counted day-over-day going forward.
More than 6,300 votes have been counted in the City Council races. Votes continue to be counted through Nov. 23, with Nov. 24 the date to certify the election.
With Malchow, Valderrama and Hornish continuing to pad their leads over their opponents, this further validate’s Sammamish Comment’s Election Night call that they are the winners of this election.
